I used to be quite disorganized when I write blogposts.
Basically, I followed an embarrassingly simple 2-step process before hitting that publish button.
..
Yup, you guessed it! Write, and then publish. Hahahaha. That was nearly 10 years ago, of course.
But there's so much more to it...
A good routine every blogger should have, is a routine to follow BEFORE and AFTER publishing blogposts.
No one is going to die if you do not share your new blog post on your Facebook page this week.
There is, however, a cumulative effect of writing and promoting posts well.
Overtime, your promotional efforts pay off because more people read your articles and are enticed to purchase from you down the line!
Here are 3 things you should do for your blogpost BEFORE you hit publish:
#1: Optimize your post for SEO.
-> Ensures that Google can rank more of your stuff.
#2: Make sure your post title is eye-catching & attractive.
-> More people clicking = more people reading = more people engaged
#3: Create horizontal and vertical images to make your post more shareable on social media.
-> Attractive pictures with properly optimized dimensions = more people clicking when someone shares your stuff on social media = more eventual customers
