Great Tips For A Successful Home Business

[category ]
[tags ]

Having a home business presents many unique challenges and rewards. Not only do you have to take care of the actual product or service that you offer, you also need to take care of the administrative and marketing duties as well. Here are some tips to help keep your home business going. When you are just starting with your home business, it can be difficult to separate home life and work. You can find yourself in situations where you are trying to do work around the house, do work related to your business, and also relax at the same time. This can lead either burn out from working too much or not enough productivity by focusing too much time on other things. It is important to set boundaries between your home life and your home business, and allocate specific times during the day that you devote to each. Run a contest on your business website. Spread the word about your contest through forums that your customers frequent, contest boards, ezines, guest blog entries and any other methods you can find. Make it fun, keep it simple and devise a prize that is worthwhile, but not over-the-top. Contests bring traffic. Determine an advertising budget for your home business. It is important to trade with other companies, offer a selection of free products for prizes and have other means of advertisement. However, the costs can quickly add up, so it is important to be aware of how much you have to spend and stay within that limit. Participate in trade shows that focus on your particular product or service. Trade shows provide a great way to network with others in your industry. It is also an effective way to promote your business to many potential customers by providing you with a setting to demonstrate your product or service. You should contact a business lawyer in your area before you actually start your business. There may be laws that your state has established regarding home businesses of which you may not be aware. Contacting a business attorney is a great way to find out what the laws are and to find out what you need to do in order to follow them. Get the right insurance for your home business. You'll need to insure your business property, of course, and if you use a vehicle for business, you might need special insurance coverage for it, too. You may need business liability coverage, and you should also have health insurance if you're not covered by someone else's policy. You should discuss your situation with a qualified insurance agent to best protect yourself and your business against the unexpected, whether it's storm damage, a car accident, or a medical problem. Search engine optimization is a vital tool to increase the Internet visibility of your home business. Search engine optimization can be an excellent method for owners of home businesses to market their sites online and increase their audience size. You can get involved with the SEO process by hiring expert consultants or by learning how to do your own optimization. Don't let yourself be lazy with your home business. Write up a business plan before you open up shop, and be sure to stick to it. If you want to be absolutely certain your plans are sound, contact a business adviser for a few expert tips before you open your doors for business. Use these tips to help keep your home business going. A home business can be frustrating at times, but the independence that you have to really make your business shine is something that no one else can replace. Just make sure you handle all parts of your business and your business will do well. John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. Sleek, Easy, and Powerful Customizable System That Just Wallops Your Old Facebook Page!

[category ]
[tags ]

Alright, first off, my apologies if I seem to be hyping and hyperboling about FBMaxed in the title above. However, to be perfectly honest with you, I don’t think any amount of hype and hyperbole is going to justify the immediate impact that using this astounding system is going to have on your facebook Page and getting more “likes” from the people that visit it. I mean, think about it. A. Complete. Website. Now, just to give you an idea of what this means. Your facebook Page now can have: •HTML5 videos. •Photo galleries •Multiple pages on one facebook Page •PHP email contact forms •Lead capture opt-ins •Sales pages, Landing pages, Reveal Splash pages Yes. All of those on your facebook Page. Business has never been easier to do on facebook, seriously. Alright, I’m getting a bit ahead of myself. When I first got my copy for review purposes, I thought to myself, well, this is a pretty sleek looking package, but of course one should never judge a book by its cover. There are always 3 things that I look for when determining whether a new product is worth my purchase and time: its results, its ease of delivery, and its support service. RESULTS FBMaxed pretty much delivers what it promises. What really got the whole product rocking is the three solid, customizable templates that is included with the system that makes editing the websites a breeze. The templates can be roughly grouped together as a video template that allows you to showcase videos on your facebook Page, an icons template that has icons on the front page that allow people to click to different pages (plus inclusion for videos), and a very easy to customize basic colors template that is easy on the eyes and highly adaptable to suit your needs. Now, all of this won’t actually look good on facebook Page because you are limited to just being 800 pixels “tall”. Well, guess what, FBMaxed actually has coding that completely bypasses this restriction! There’s no scrollbars for limitation, you are actually building right into the facebook Page itself! So the end result is a really comfortably spaced-out, pleasing and jam-packed of information facebook Page that you can change on the fly to suit whatever you want! What about the addition of a special reveal splash page to prevent people who haven’t “liked” your page from seeing your actual page? It’s pure genius. Basically FBMaxed teaches you how to do include two seperate websites into one single facebook Page. I got to give props to the creators of FBMaxed, this is a genius marketing tactic. To me, it serves to act as a teaser page to tempt people to click the “like” button, and boy, does it do it well because it has all the functionalities of a complete website! I’m not talking a simple teaser image with some text page, I’m talking the whole nine yards teaser web site complete with videos and opt-ins! EASE OF DELIVERY Aside from setting up a hosting account and getting a HTML editor and FTP program (which granted most of us Internet marketers should have by now), the system has no other costs really to think of. It’s a set-it-up-and-it’s-done deal. Hosting accounts are cheap to get and there are free HTML editors and FTP programs out there. So there aren’t any other “additional costs” to speak of for this product. Also, the complete system to implement itself is pretty easy to do. The instructions are clear and concise, and there are many images presented to better clarify the instructions. I find the images and graphics very helpful in speeding things along. All in all, it took me less than two hours to get everything rolling and going. Thumbs up! SUPPORT SERVICE The FBMaxed team promised that they will provide webinars every few days to their buyers to guide them through the system. Well, they certainly did not fail here. In fact, they excelled! I attended some of the webinars and I find the team to be really helpful and friendly with all of the questions and queries posted by the users. They seem to know the ins and outs of the entire system and that helps a lot if you have highly technical questions that needed answering. I never needed to worry about missing anything because all of the webinars are converted into downloadable videos so I can always get back to them later. Oh, and for the days where there’s no webinar but I had questions that needed answering? They also have email support for that too. Their replies are always prompt and clear. All in all, outstanding support service. Kudos to the FBMaxed team! CONCLUSION FBMaxed delivers. It combines the best of what both iFrames and HTML5 can do for you on facebook and packages it into a complete system with three templates that’s easy to use and highly customisable. There’s very little theory and frills involved and it’s a lot of hands on, no-nonsense approach. Even the more technical parts are made easy to understand and do with the help of big, clear images. Excellent support service and a very smooth ease of delivery, no hidden costs to speak of, no up-sells or cross-sells. Overall rating 9/10. Need Some Video Marketing Help Weve Got All You Need To Know

[category ]
[tags ]

Video marketing is one of the best ways to breathe new life into a business. Many business owners see the potential in video marketing, but have limited knowledge of how to use it successfully. That is where you differ from them. You'll know how to make video marketing work for you with the advice in this article. The first thing you have to do with video marketing is to give it a try. The more you experiment, the better your outcomes will become. Try everything which comes to mind and then figure out what works and what doesn't. This is the best way to make video marketing successful. The content of your video plays an essential role in its success. The equipment you use to shoot the video does not determine how many will view it. People watch videos that are alright if they have relevant information that they think is important. Still, you want to buy the best camera you can afford. If you are too shy to show your face on the screen, you should try using something like Google Search Stories to help you. This is a good way to show your users all of the pertinent information you need to without worrying about having to show everyone your face. When writing a description of your video include your web address at the beginning of the description using proper HTML. This will allow viewer to click the link and be immediately directed to your website. You should also include a description using your primary and alternate keywords for better page ranks. To help garner even more views embed your video in your website. Most people when they think of video marketing think only of posting a video on YouTube. Instead, post it on your website and include a link on your Facebook wall and Tweet about your new video on Twitter. If you want to film yourself talking about your products or demonstrating them, you should put together an outline for your video before you start. Make a list of all the points you feel are important and organize them logically so your video is easy to follow. Remember that you can edit your video to organize different points in a logical order too. All of your videos should be as timeless as possible. When talking about a product release or a new product, it could be difficult to make a video that people will want to watch 6 months from now. If you focus on the product, and not the release date, you will be creating a video that people will watch in the future. When searching for inspiration, try YouTube Suggest to find related topics which you could speak on. This gives you a tree of various ideas which you can either use outright or might spark a topic idea in your mind. The more research you do, the more ideas you'll come up with. People like honesty! Only make videos about subjects that really interest you or causes you really believe in. Adopting a more transparent, candid tone will come across to viewers as an indication of reliability and trustworthiness. Video tutorials are an excellent way to create new content and assist you customers. People will often search for sites with tutorial information about products or services. When they find great content, they will often share it after consuming it themselves. This is a great way to increase your visibility. There is a great deal of promise that video marketing can bring to a business. Lots of business owners realize this, but they are missing one key element needed to use video marketing. You now have that key element. Put it to good use and make video marketing your most successful business strategy. John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. eBlast Emails - Three (3) Tips On Blasting eMails

Blast Emails - 3 Tips On Blasting E-Mails

Any feedback would be great. eBlast Emails - Three (3) Tips On Blasting eMails

One of the most important things you can do to improve the success of your online marketing efforts is to take the time to build an opt in email list. When customers come to your website you can encourage them to sign up to your email list by offering them an incentive. Once they've signed up to your list you can communicate with them as often as you want. You have two options when it comes to communicating with them, an email series and blast emails.

A email series is simply a number of emails, you determine how many, that have already been written and loaded into an autoresponder and that will be sent out over a period of time, automatically. For example, if you have created a series of emails that consists of 10 emails and you schedule them to go out daily, every person who signs up to your email or newsletter will immediately get the first email and they will then receive one email a day for nine more days . The emails will continue to go out in the order you set them up in. That way everyone will receive your emails whether they've been signed up for a long time or whether they've just signed up.

When you do a blast you will send out the same email to everyone on your list at the same time. Everyone will receive the same message whether they've been signed up to your list for years or days. This type of email message is particularly effective if you have some new product or service you want to let your customers know about, or if you're having a sale. This is a great way to offer your customers a coupon for an upcoming sale.

Remember though, no email will be effective if it isn't read. For that reason make sure to follow these tips to get the most out of all of your email campaigns:

1. Carefully consider who your target audience is and what they want. If you're not sure you can ask them. Send out an email and ask them to let you know what questions they have or what products they may be interested in.

2. Make sure you use a title that will pique their curiosity. No matter how well written an email is, it won't do you any good if your customers don't read it. Make the headline something compelling.

3. Make your message short and to the point. While you will want to 'sell' your customers a little bit if your message drags on and on you will most likely lose them. Just highlight the most important things: what's in it for them. They will make up their own mind from that point on.

By keeping these tips in mind you can dramatically improve your results from all of your email marketing efforts whether you use a series of emails or blast emails or both. Just give your customers what they want and they'll reward you for it by purchasing your products or services. Everyone wins!

What You Can Do To Become Successful At Internet Marketing

[category ]
[tags ]

As you gain more experience in the realm of internet marketing, you will find out that the methods and techniques used by the experts aren't that complicated at all. With articles like these, containing good information and tips on how to succeed, you can formulate a plan and experience true success via internet marketing. One of the most important and least expensive things you can do to get your web site seen, is to rank high for your keywords on the major search engines. They should be ranked high in natural searches, not ads. This strategy is called search engine optimization, often abbreviated SEO. Learn to mine for data if you want to have a successful internet marketing campaign. Data mining will require a lot of research from different angles and there is software that can assist you in the process, especially in terms of making sense of the data. But you'll have to become an efficient miner, if you want to see where you're succeeding and where you're going wrong. Spend money on professional design services if you intend to make a logo part of your internet marketing strategy. While logos can be bold, memorable symbols for your business, designing them is trickier than you can imagine. It is not a job to be turned over to your teenage nephew who is "a real Photoshop wiz." Pay for a real graphic designer if you want a really impressive logo. To reach out to your audience, create a series of podcasts about a specific topic. Once you have built up an audience that listens to your podcasts regularly, start mentioning your products. Make it sound as if you are giving your audience advice about products related to the topic of your podcasts. Post your opinions on current events and discuss how these events affect your readers. When something major happens in the world, it becomes a hot topic that many people search for. If you are one of the first websites to write about a recent issue, then you are a valuable resource to readers who desire immediate updates. Search engines crawling for information will also add your relevant articles to their index for that keyword. Find your readers on other websites and lead them to yours. Accomplish this by making guests postings on other people's blogs, leaving comments on relevant sites using your web address as your name, and providing articles to other sites, as long as you get a byline and can add a link. A fast customer service department can have a huge positive impact on an internet marketing strategy. Online business moves quickly and online customers are quick to grow dissatisfied. By addressing their concerns as rapidly as possible, successful business websites maintain a positive online reputation that can preserve and even expand their customer base. Try to refrain from including music on your site if you want to hold your reader's attention. When you are running a business, you will want to keep things as professional as possible. Music will shift your customer's focus, and may hurt your online sales over the course of the year. While it is true that a lot of Internet marketers are able to advertise their sites and products without spending money at all, this is something that is incredibly rare. Blog businesses hosted on free sites that make 50k a year are pretty much dying off. You will need to invest some money, if only for a legitimate website and some keyword campaigns. Marketing isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, obviously, but the good news is that you can market just like the experts once you learn the ropes. Use these tips to guide you along your path and you may just find that a successful business is much more obtainable than you once thought. John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. Nurturing And Developing A Home Business With Simple Ideas

[category ]
[tags ]

You need to have some knowledge of what to do and expect from a home business. You need to know what resources are available to you and who can provide you answers as to what you need for the future of your business. The tips below can help you start. To keep your finances in order, acquire a unique checking account and credit card to use for your home business. Use them for every business transaction you have, and use them for business only. Keeping your business finances separate from your personal finances will make it much easier on you when tax-time rolls around. A good way to start gathering information on how to be successful at a home-based business is to join an online forum or community discussion group. You can find many useful resources by doing a simple Google search. Blogs are another great resource when it comes to educating yourself about online businesses. Ask the other members of your household to refrain from interrupting or otherwise compromising your work. Keep regular work hours so that they know what to expect. If you have kids, schedule work hours while they are occupied at school or extracurricular activities. Don't leave work materials in common areas where they might be moved or damaged. Since your home is also your work place, make a point to get out of the house on a regular basis. Don't isolate yourself for the sake of convenience. Go have lunch in the park, grab your coffee at a bookstore, etc. Just make sure you are out breathing fresh air at least once a day. As you begin your home business, make sure that you believe in the product or company that you are supporting. It is very difficult to try and sell a product that you would not want to own yourself. Similarly, if you do not believe in a company's message or business practices, you will not work as hard for them. Make sure you respond to any customer inquiries in a timely manner. Keep track of your messages to make sure every question gets answered. This will show customers you care about your business and they will come back to do business with you for their future purchases or business needs. Keep everything as organized as possible to make it easier for you to keep your bills paid on time and your customers happy. Find a place with few distractions that you can dedicate to only your home business supplies. It will make the time that you spend working more efficient. If you are planning to start a home-based business, try teaching music lessons. If you play a musical instrument, it's an invaluable tool for making money. Good music teachers command good pay, you can use any room in your home and you will have no start-up costs. It's the perfect way to use your talent to your advantage. As you have seen in the above tips, there is a lot of knowledge, you can acquire before starting and maintaining a home business, and it is this knowledge that can help you with your future. Do everything you must to ensure the success of your home business for the future. John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. How To Generate Traffic Using Solo Ads

[category ]
[tags ]

We?ve all heard many times over that list building is critical for long-term success in Internet marketing. If you think about it, it's easy to understand why list building is so important, since you get the opportunity to present sales offers to a potential customer multiple times instead of just showing a sales letter one time. It's not easy getting started from scratch, however, and many people struggle to drive enough traffic to their squeeze page in order to generate a significant number of subscribers. If you're one of those online business owners who can't seem to get very many subscribers, why not try some paid advertising in the form of solo ads? After all, paid advertising has always been an excellent way to gain exposure for your business more quickly, which is one reason why pay per click campaigns are so popular and generate so much money for Google and other search engines. Instead of waiting around forever to generate enough traffic to your squeeze page, you can simply take out an advertisement by purchasing solo ads from a reputable marketer who has a significant list. The advertisement would lead readers to your squeeze page where you can offer some sort of incentive (like a free e-book or short report) in order to convert those visitors into subscribers. If you're a member of a marketing forum such as the warrior forum or any number of other similar forums, you might be able to find some good opportunities for solo ads even though you have to be careful when it comes to spending your money on advertising. If there is someone you trust on a marketing forum or in a paid membership site, perhaps that person can recommend an opportunity for advertising so you can start building your list much more quickly in order to get your business off the ground. Techniques To Help You Market Through Facebook

[category ]
[tags ]

There's more to Facebook marketing than just creating a Facebook page. If you're new to Facebook or your campaign hasn't seen results yet, you probably just need more information so you can be successful. Read on to learn what to do in order to market your business on Facebook. If you are going to share images with your fan base, make sure that you know exactly who or what is being portrayed. Posting a picture of one person and saying it is someone else is a very terrible faux pax. It may give people the idea that they are not individuals in your eyes. When thinking of information to share with your followers on Facebook, try to keep them relevant to what is going on with your business or industry. If your company sells auto parts, you should make posts about auto parts. Posting photos of cats or other irrellavant topics will ensure that people unfollow your page. Get faces to your brand active on Facebook. You know the social media has "face" in the name don't you? Facebook is really about building relationships, and it's tough to build relationships around corporations or faceless brands. If you add some faces and names into the mix, it can do a lot for building brand engagement among your fans. Use Facebook as a customer service tool. Invite customers to send you questions, comments or complaints by commenting on your Facebook page. This is a great way to display your excellent customer service policies. Answer questions in details and offer refunds or new products right away to the customers who complain. A clear purpose is necessary when figuring out your Facebook marketing campaign. You can't just think that getting lots of Likes on Facebook will bring in huge profits as a result. You must have clear goals, such as building sales by x percent, so you can work towards them. Be careful of any images you post as ads, as only 20% of the image can be actual text. If you end up submitting an image which has more than 20% text, it will be rejected and you've wasted your time. Be creative and create an image which captures your audience's attention. Make sure that any content you post is made shareable. There are many businesses that leave messages then they fail to allow users to share it with others. Word of mouth is your biggest Facebook fan, so do not forget to allow sharing. Failing to place share links on your page will set your business back a lot. Never buy Facebook fans to make you look bigger than you are. It may be tempting to throw down some cash to buy your way in to big fan numbers, but it never turns out the way you want. Those hallow fans bring nothing to the table, and people who are in the business can see through this tactic in a heartbeat. It's never worth it. As you can see, Facebook marketing does take a bit of effort. Now that you know what to do, though, it should be pretty easy to get started. So get on your computer and create your first post today. If you use our tips, you will see success almost instantly. John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. Top 3 Ways To Boost Your Affiliate Commissions Overnight

The ideal world of affiliate marketing does not require having your won website, dealing with customers, refunds, product development and maintenance. This is one of the easiest ways of launching into an online business and earning more profits. Assuming you are already into an affiliate program, what would be the next thing you would want to do? Double, or even triple, your commissions, right? How do you do that? Here are some powerful tips on how to boost your affiliate program commissions overnight. 1. Know the best program and products to promote. Obviously, you would want to promote a program that will enable you to achieve the greatest profits in the shortest possible time. There are several factors to consider in selecting such a program. Choose the ones that have a generous commission structure. Have products that fit in with your target audience. And that has a solid track record of paying their affiliate easily and on time. If you cannot seem to increase your investments, dump that program and keep looking for better ones. There are thousands of affiliate programs online which gives you the reason to be picky. You may want to select the best to avoid losing your advertising dollars. Write free reports or short ebooks to distribute from your site. There is a great possibility that you are competing with other affiliates that are promoting the same program. If you start writing short report related to the product you are promoting, you will be able to distinguish yourself from the other affiliates. In the reports, provide some valuable information for free. If possible, add some recommendations about the products. With ebooks, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering. 2. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free ebooks. It is a known fact that people do not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may want to send out your message more than six times to make a sale. This is the simple reason why you should collect the contact information of those who downloaded your reports and ebooks. You can make follow-ups on these contacts to remind them to make a purchase from you. Get the contact information of a prospect before sending them to the vendor?s website. Keep in mind that you are providing free advertisement for the product owners. You get paid only when you make a sale. If you send prospects directly to the vendors, chances are they would be lost to you forever. But when you get their names, you can always send other marketing messages to them to be able to earn an ongoing commission instead of a one-time sale only. Publish an online newsletter or Ezine. It is always best to recommend a product to someone you know than to sell to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. This also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers. This strategy is a delicate balance between providing useful information with a sales pitch. If you continue to write informative editorials you will be able to build a sense of reciprocity in your readers that may lead them to support you by buying your products. 3. Ask for higher than normal commission from merchants. If you are already successful with a particular promotion, you should try and approach the merchant and negotiate a percentage commission for your sales. If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose a valuable asset in you. Keep in mind that you are a zero-risk investment to your merchant; so do not be shy about requesting for addition in your commissions. Just try to be reasonable about it. Write strong pay Per Click ads. PPC search engine is the most effective means of advertising online. As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords and Overture. Then you should try and monitor them to see which ads are more effective and which ones to dispose of. Try out these strategies and see the difference it can make to your commission checks in the shortest of time. CPP_author John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. Distribute Articles To Hundreds Or More Websites

[category ]
[tags ]

To get the largest number of articles submitted in the shortest amount of time the use of article marketing software is growing in popularity. This software can help you distribute your article to hundreds or thousands of online sites. Not only will more people have access to your articles (and hopefully read them, like what you have to say and click on the link in your resource box and get taken to your website) you will also have the ability to build a lot of incoming links to your website. Search engines use a lot of different parameters when they decide what rank your site will receive. One of those parameters is how many incoming links you have to your site. The more you have the higher you can rank. If the links coming to your site are from another site that is ranked very high, the link will carry even more weight and will help you even more. In order for any of this to happen though you'll need a lot of articles in circulation. A well written article that is targeting a good keyword can stay in circulation for months or even years. But it is a numbers game and to get the most out of this process you need a lot of articles circulating the web. It takes a lot of time to do keyword research, write and submit all those articles by hand. That's why using the available tools can help you get all the results you want in a lot less time and with much less effort. Now there is something to be aware of when it comes to software submission programs. some of them are not well liked by the search engines. The search engines generally aren't big fans of anyone who takes 'shortcuts' to submit a ton of articles. The biggest reason is that they don't want the same version of the same article submitted four hundred times. When it comes time to pick out a good software program be careful which one you choose and carefully monitor your results. Don't just assume it's working. The best way to do that is to carefully monitor your traffic before you submit the articles. Than watch for any change, good or bad. If you have access to your control panel for your website you can get pretty in depth statistics about where your traffic is coming from. This will help you determine just how many sites your article has been distributed to. Whether you choose to use article marketing software or not, there are some things you can do to greatly increase the effectiveness of your online advertising. For one thing, make sure you target the best keywords possible. You don't want the most highly searched for keywords since they'll have too much competition. What you want are keywords that get decent searches a month, around 1,500 but don't have too much competition. Next write your article in a clear, easy to understand format. Provide a strong call to action in the resource box and submit multiple versions targeting several top keywords for your niche. John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. So you think Social Networking Sites are a Waste of Time? Rethink this or lose out.

[category ]

So you think Social Networking Sites are a Waste of Time? Think again, Google's new Indexing System says different, site owners take note. If you have been one of the nay-sayers about Social Networking sites like FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, Friendster, and YouTube you may want to rethink this belief. If you have been saying, "I just don't get it." It's time to "get it" especially if you want to exploit this for the good of your online business. First, you need to know that Google is now indexing Social Networking content including video, images and blogs right alongside with webpages. What this means for you is this. If you don't use these sites to promote your business you are missing out on a lot of free promotion for your business and opportunity to get better indexed at search engines. The more content you have online about your business, products and services, the better indexed your site will be. This means your customers and prospects will be more easily able to find what you have to offer at your site. The more links TO your site (called backlinks), the more popular your site is viewed by search engines, especially if those links come from what are deemed as high-profile (authority ) sites. Here is what you need to know to capitalize on all this free promotion for your business (essentially this is Search Engine Optimization Strategy whether you know it or not). Getting good returns from Social Search Results means: 1. If you don't have a Google account get one. Make sure you have all of your important links on your Google Profile. 2. Do make as many connections as possible on the most popular social networking sites especially the ones that attract your market. 3. Encourage customers to follow you via social networks. Include your Twitter address, FaceBook address etc on your site and your marketing materials. 4. Participate in social media so people will engage with you. This starts with getting a free account for your business on the popular social sites. 5. Encourage sharing of content (there are plenty available social media buttons) Example: Flicker, Digg, etc, 6. Always include social network information on business cards, signs and so forth. Get the word out in as many places as you can. 7. Be sure to include as much social network information as you can in your online promotions 8. Everywhere you network include a link BACK to your website - this is CRITICAL. Remember when doing searches, social results will always be clearly marked as such on Google's SERPs (Search Engine Results Page). The returns will be accompanied by a heading "Results from your social circle". For traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO), it is just one more thing to compete with as far as website property. That's why social networking is a much more of an important part of search than ever. Get on board now, Google will be announcing more changes to their new indexing system, so make the most of this information now.

Keeping Your Blog Fresh And Exciting With Simple Tips & Tricks

[category ]
[tags ]

A lot of people today are very interested in the subject of blogging, but they aren't sure what they should be doing to create and manage a well structured blog. If this is something that catches your interest then you should read further, as the following information can set you on the right path. Don't go too broad with your posts. If you have different skills, try using them on a specific topic. Creating broad blog posts in an uncontrollable way can make your brand dissolve. Even if you have readers that are interested in various topics, you're making it harder for people to recognize your single brand. Ensure that the titles of your blog posts are very catchy. Imagine that you are someone who is just browsing the internet and you see your blog post among thousands of others. You should ensure that your blog headline sticks out from the rest. If you are starting your own blog, you probably won't have a multitude of readers and comments right away. You will have to search out people and show them you exist. Some ways to do this are with social networking, such as Facebook and Twitter. Use these sites to communicate with people, not just to post links. Since blogs are written on a more personal level, you should avoid writing in formal tones. This will make it easier for the reader to relate to you on a personal level. This will keep your readers coming back later on to read more of the blogs you write. Minimize the background "noise". You want your readers to focus on your words and the point you are trying to make. If your background is not somewhat plain, you will draw the readers focus from your entries. Keep your background to a light or white color without images or other distractions. If you plan to blog for the long haul, then invest in a domain name. It's inexpensive and will make your blog look more professional. Using your business's name or something related to it will make it easier for viewers to remember it. Refrain from using blog designs that are similar to MySpace. This means using extremely busy designs that have too much content on your screen, too many animated graphics, etc. Having these busy designs makes it extremely difficult for your readers to read your blog. As a result, they'll likely leave. Consider adding pictures or music to your blog. Stimulating their senses will create a fuller experience, and increase the pleasure of your visitors. Choose pictures and sounds that are relevant to the content of your blog. Before you chose anything, be certain that you are not in violation of any copyright laws. Building an online presence via blogging is something that takes time, keep this in mind. Just remember that the sooner you start the sooner your potential to build an audience becomes. So do your best to apply all of the knowledge you learned and the audience you've been seeking should follow. John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com. What Every Home-Based Business Owner Needs to Know About Shiny Object Syndrome

[category ]
[tags ]
One of the greatest enemies to business success is Shiny Object Syndrome. You as an entrepreneur are probably highly creative, intuitive and optimistic by nature, and it's likely common for you to have a mind full of new ideas at any given moment. You see opportunity where many others don't and the trouble arises when you want to bring all of the ideas to life at the same time. It may also be difficult for you to say 'no' to pursuing a new idea or opportunity when it's presented because you love 'new' and 'exciting'! Some days you may feel you're chasing after many ideas at the same time while accomplishing no real progress on any one of them. In order to beat Shiny Object Syndrome it's important to pick ONE idea and focus your undivided attention on it. Of all the ideas you have in your head right now, which one has the potential to make you the most money? This is the idea you want to focus your complete attention, energy and resources on. Many other great ideas and opportunities will come your way as you work on bringing your best idea to life, but until that happens, keep a running "Great Idea/Opportunity" list where you can keep a record of these items for future attention. All of those great ideas and opportunities are useless to you if you can't bring them to full completion within an effective time frame. With your best idea at the forefront, decide on how to implement a structured plan. Map your plan into bite-size, manageable pieces and once done, focus your attention on completing the first step. Only once you have completed that step, move on to the next. Keep in mind, throughout the process distractions will surround you. When presented with an opportunity, albeit a good one, learn to say 'no' if it takes you away from your primary goal. It's often hard for entrepreneurs to say 'no' but chasing many ideas simultaneously will only put you further and further behind. So, where do you start today? Here's a brief guideline to help you along: 1. Make a list of all the ideas and opportunities on your 'to do' list right now. 2. Pick the one that will make you the most money and develop a manageable plan to complete it. 3. When distractions arise, ask yourself, "Will this bring me closer to my goal or take me further away from it?" 4. If they take you away from your primary goal, learn to say 'no'. If you have an online business you need to enhance your online presence any way you can, legally, of course. How To Send Email Customers Want To Read

[category ]
[tags ]

You've probably never heard the term "email marketing" before, but more than likely you have seen it. It's everywhere! Your favorite companies have more than likely sent you a message telling you about a product. This is email marketing in its purest form. Does this sound like something you would want to use? Granting that it is, then continue reading. Playing with fonts is fun, and you may be tempted to spice up your emails with exotic fonts. Resist that temptation! Fonts may display differently, or even be replaced by defaults, on someone else's computer. Even if an odd font does display correctly, there is no guarantee that your recipient will appreciate it the same way you do. To avoid any font-based mishaps, stick with fonts that are widespread, easy to read, and understated. Your color scheme should be consistent and should reflect your brand. If your colors are all over the board, you will appear amateurish and your efforts may not achieve the results that you desire. You can look on sites like COLOURlovers if you need some good ideas to get you going. One of the most important things you can do during your e-mail marketing campaign is to set your goals and re-evaluate them as necessary. Make sure you know what you want to accomplish with your e-mail marketing campaign and be willing to change some of your practices as the industry, your business, or your customer basis changes. Take every opportunity that comes up to be festive when you send out your emails. When there is a holiday try to tailor your emails to fit the occasion. Subscribers will be very appreciative of this, and they will feel as if you are human and not a robot. Offering holiday discounts is another great idea that ties into the festive theme. Write your message copy with benefits in mind, but not yours. Make sure your messages reflect the benefits that your content, products or services are offering your subscribers and readers. They want to know what is in it for them before they commit to the call to action, which is where your benefit happens. When following up with your potential customers, you could follow them up by sending out an email that gives them a summary of an offer. Attach a line on the email that tells them to review this offer. The ending postscript could inform them that there are absolutely no hidden fees on the offer that you are providing them. Email marketers would be wise from including pre-checked opt-in boxes within their emails. This will make you look untrustworthy to your readers as they may take this to be a little to forward. Also, when you let readers opt0in themselves, you create a better email list of customers that are actually interested in you and your business. After countless times of encountering email marketing, you finally know what it is. Put simply, it's using the medium of emails to send messages either current customers or future customers for the sole purpose of marketing to them. Now that you know what it is, make use of it in your own emails! John Silva is the Owner of http://InstantComputerBiz.com.
