Hi, Most people start out bootstrapping their websites.
I was the same.
Heck, I was too cheap to buy a $10 dot com, so I got a .99 cent dot info domain name.
(Boy, that was dumb!)
Want to know the first thing I spent money on?
A premium WordPress theme.
Wow. What a game changer.
Definitely worth the hundred bucks it cost me.
How do you know what's worth the money, and what's just a marketing gimmick?
Here's the one rule I follow:
Buy stuff that saves me time or grows my money.
For example, buy a premium theme saved me time.
Now I spend way less time troubleshooting a crappy free theme.
It also improved my site speed, boosting SEO, ranking, and income.
You've been on my list for a while, so I gotta shoot straight:
Sometimes, doing things as cheap as possible is costing you long term.
Spending money on your business isn't a waste.
It's an investment!
Here are three investments I recommend for your business
- A premium theme to make my website look more professional
- Premium plugins to boost conversions like comparison charts
- SEO analyzer and competition research like SEMRush
- Keyword research tool like Jaaxy
Some particularly poor investments would be
- Traffic exchanges (it's all bot traffic or incentivized clicks)
- SEO packages (it's usually just garbage backlinks and a caching plugin)
- PLR content (this stuff doesn't rank)
- Backlinks or PBNs
Spending money on your website can help you grow your business.
I hope my advice in this email helps you spend your money smartly!
My thanks in advance for your attention, consideration,
energy, time, and trouble with regards to this matter!
Talk soon.
Cheers,
João
