You know what I was thinking about today?

Well... don't worry. I'm going to tell you haha. I guess that's kinda the point of writing these emails anyway, right?

So this morning I was drinking some coffee, from my fancy cappuccino machine and I realized that I've almost been doing this whole personal finance blogging thing for nearly 5+ years now, give or take!!!

Which is crazy, because everything is so much different these days, then it was at the very beginning.

I started this website back when I had to keep my clothes in the garage because there wasn't enough room in the closet of the 10x10 bedroom my wife and I were renting from her parents (*cough* wife has too many clothes *cough* (to fir the converted garage)).

It's just crazy. Now I'm writing this email in my own very very boujee office ( if I do say so myself ) that I co share in an boujee biz 'incubator.'

Needless to say, everything has come a long way since then. Including me.

In the beginning of M$M, now M$$M I was all about frugality. My idea of getting ahead financially was to be as cheap as humanly possible... aka miserly.

And at the time, I was freakishly good at it.

But over time, I've realized a few things:

A) Everyone can't just "cut back". Doesn't work that way, and a lot of people don't have much left to cut out of the budget, some have not, nothin'.

B) Making more money accelerates this whole process. It just does, and fortunately there are more ways than ever to make extra cash in a legitimate way.

AND let's face it, you can't take it with you...

... not that I've ever made cash in non-legitimate ways ;);). I mean I was a band nerd in mid to high school. It's not like I was out selling drugs, or pimpin' shorties or anything like that :o;):);).

I've tried to do the cool "hide the tip money in your hand and transfer it via slick handshake" sometimes in a funeral... or after fasting for 29 days... thing before, and I fail miserably and awkwardly every time.

Probably doesn't bode well for my drug dealing or pimpin' abilities (or lack thereof).

Moving on...

So I've made increasing income a big part of what I talk about these days among other things.

And today, I'm going to hook you up with some sweet ideas for making income passively.
