Fwd: Budgeting for summer 🌀

Hey LongJon Silver, here at Pirate's Island/ Pirate's Cove Orlando/ Kissimmee... visit us
What a weekend! Even though it's the start of summer and I had *hoped* things would slow down some, things are still really busy. Do you feel that way too?
I told myself I wanted to implement a 4 day work week for the next couple of months to prepare for fall ( that's when things start to get really busy online ), but I am not sure if that's really going to happen. On the plus side, I love being able to work outside and on the beach, in the mornings before it gets too hot out.
This year I decided to create a summer budget so I wouldn't miss out on anything fun!
While we don't have any major vacation plans ( we tend to do more in the fall and winter ), am always on vacation... it's paradise her... we have been spending our weekends getting out of the house and staying busy. We love living in middle Tennessee, it's cooler that Fla. here because there is so much to do outdoors and places to explore.
Last summer I made a big ( to me ) purchase and got a kayak for myself. I had so much using it last year and I'm excited to go on more kayaking trips this summer. I don't think I will have any big purchases like that this summer though, yay!
It can be easy to overspend in the summer, so make sure to head to the blog to see if you could be saving money with some of my tips. We have done a lot of the items on the list and I bet you already do at least one or two on the list.
The best thing you can do to accommodate increased expenses during this time of year is to set up a summer budget and find practical ways to save.
I am always watching my expenses and looking at my bills, and I definitely like to plan out and anticipate what my spending to be like ahead of the time.

P.S. When I started this blog, I think I spent around $100ish to get started. It paid off - by the end of the year I had made around $13,000 +  in addition to my day job ($225K+). What a great investment in myself and it was truly the ultimate side hustle. If you want to start a blog, here's how you do it.
