I started by talking about 'walking on water.'
Whenever people talk about that story in the Bible… they always focus on the great risk and great reward of Peter's choice to leave the boat.
But consider the alternative…
Imagine what it would have been like for Peter to consider these two options… leaving or staying… and then choosing to stay in the boat.
That decision may have haunted him for the rest of his life.
And if you ask me…
THAT would have been far worse than sinking in the sea!
Yes, the life God calls us to is risky.
But the alternative — a life full of regret — is far riskier and worse than any fate you could suffer while following G-d's call.
