Hello!
As you know, the Facebook Ads for Bloggers sale ends tonight at midnight PST. You can go here to grab the course before the doors close (don't forget to use MICHELLE100 at checkout).
Before the course closes down tonight at midnight, I'd like to tell you a quick story...
Near the end of 2018, I hopped on a video call with Bobby to discuss my Facebook ad strategy, and I'd like to tell you the story of what I learned from our conversation that day.
I've had a lot of success selling courses over the past few years, but I wanted to see if there were any strategies I should be taking advantage of to keep increasing my blogging revenue during 2019.

I truly believe that no matter where you are in your blogging journey, you should always try to learn more and improve your blog.
I noticed that Bobby had multiple six-figure months in 2018 due to his online course revenue, and I wanted to learn how since I knew he was very focused on Facebook ads.

Fortunately, he was very generous with his time and talked to me for nearly an hour about improving my Facebook ads, and included several step-by-step instructions while I took notes.

I looked my notes over earlier and I want to share my three biggest takeaways from that call:
1. Retargeting ads are extremely powerful and will help you make much more money from online courses
I'm sure you've had a situation where you looked at a product, thought about purchasing it, and maybe even looked at the cart to start checking out… but then left before buying.
Then, immediately after, you started seeing ads redirecting you back to the checkout cart to finish your purchase.
I always thought that only big companies knew how to do this effectively, because after searching on Google many times, I could never figure out how to create these ads in Facebook.

But the truth is - any blogger can run retargeting ads. You don't have to be a huge company, and you don't have to have a huge budget either.

In fact, one of the biggest ways that Bobby was making so much money from his courses was that he and his business partner Mike had mastered these retargeting ads.

On his first course launch back in 2018, Bobby and Mike generated 109 course sales (at $247 per sale) using only $72 of ad spend! That's nearly $27,000!
If he hadn't shown me his ad account, I legitimately would not have believed him.

He told me that the result from that launch aren't typical, but he regularly uses these types of ads to generate over $10,000 in sales for under $2,000 in ad spend for both his own launches and other bloggers that he manages these ads for. In fact, his most recent launch resulted in over $14,000 in course sales from $2,000 in ad spend.

I haven't implemented this strategy yet on my courses, and he gives me a hard time about that regularly, but it's one of my main blogging goals in 2019.
The good news is that you can learn how to run ads like this too, since there is an entire section of his FB Ads for Bloggers course that teaches this process step-by-step.
2. Some affiliate managers will place your Facebook pixel on their sales funnel so that you can track sales from your ads
As you know, affiliate income is one of my main sources of income for Making Sense of Cents.
I'm always looking for ways to grow my affiliate income, as it's my favorite way to make money with my blog.
Bobby told me that he had started asking his affiliate managers if he they could place his Facebook pixel on their funnel so that he could better track how much money he was making with his ad spend.
One of the biggest reasons that bloggers are afraid to spend money on Facebook ads to promote affiliate products is that they aren't sure they will make their money back.

But, in his course, Bobby teaches you exactly how to reach out to your affiliate managers and request that they do this for you, and also the exact Facebook event codes to put on each step of their sales funnel.
Bobby's business partner Mike even put an entire section in the course where he teaches you how to track events (like purchases) from your ads and even assign a dollar value to them.
Once you do this, you'll be able to see how much money you're earning from the affiliate links in your ads, and be able to comfortably scale your campaigns knowing that you're recouping the costs.

This is huge for bloggers that focus on affiliate marketing!

3. Facebook ads can be used for as little as $1 per day
Bobby did mention this in the interview that I did with him the other day on Making Sense of Cents, but at the time, I was not aware that Facebook ads could be run for just $1.

I had heard many times that campaigns were not successful unless you spent at least $5 per day.

What he clarified for me was that certain types of campaigns do cost $5 per day, but the traffic campaigns and engagement campaigns that we use to get more traffic to our blog posts can be run with only a $1 daily budget. You can also still get extremely cheap clicks if you know which settings to choose.

This is how he is able to drive thousands of people to his blog every month for a low cost.

He's been able to fill up his Facebook groups, sell courses, and build a very active community around his brand with these campaigns.

At just $1 per day, I feel that this is a very affordable option for bloggers at any level to grow their blog quickly and I recommend that you at least check out the Facebook Ads For Bloggers course to see what it's about.

One more thing:

They are closing down enrollment for the course at midnight tonight. Not only will you miss your chance to join the course, you'll miss out on your opportunity to save $100 using my exclusive coupon code MICHELLE100. It took a lot of convincing to get all of you this discount, so don't let it go to waste!

If you have any questions about the course, just let me know. Do hurry the course fills up fast, there maybe a waiting list, already. Here's the link one more time so that you can get started:
