You probably have received countless email about GDPR, now here is ours.

We've made some changes to our privacy policy to align with the new data protection law being introduced on 25th May 2018.

As a part of A1 Revenue's ongoing efforts to meet the requirements of the April 2016 European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR"), which comes into effect on May 25, 2018.

Keeping your data safe and secure is our top priority. The changes don't alter the way we use and protect your personal information, but make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information. The fact that the law is changing only builds on what we already do today.

Our terms & conditions have been updated to reflect the new legal requirements of the GDPR. They comprise mutual promises requiring both you and A1 Revenue to handle personal information in a lawful manner that complies with the GDPR.

The integral part of our privacy documentation is the End User Privacy Policy, which describes our approach to end users' data protection. The aim of the End User Privacy Policy is to provide you and your end users with comprehensive information about the use of their personal data and cookies technology in connection with A1 Revenue services.

In terms of GDPR requirements, we expect our customers to warrant the necessary level of privacy and data security standards. In this respect, we require our customers to:

Determine the lawful basis for processing personal data that falls under the new regulation. In particular, you should verify whether the GDPR requires you to obtain visitors' consent or whether there is another legal basis for such processing of data;

Obtain any necessary end users' consent if it is necessary to meet the legal requirements for both the processing of personal data and the use of cookies technology in connection with use of our services;

Update all privacy notices. In this context, we expect you to provide an appropriate notice to end users about the processing of their personal data and using cookies or information collected about them through the use of any similar technology, if such processing and/or collection relates to the use of A1Revenue's services under our Terms & Conditions, updated End User Privacy Policy, describing the processing of A1 Revenue's end users personal data.

A1 Revenue takes a responsible approach to the GDPR and the standards of data protection set forth by it. With that in mind, we may make some additional changes or develop new functionalities in relation to the new regulation. If any such changes are implemented regarding our services, you will receive a separate notification.

The new GDPR terms will automatically amend your current contract with A1 Revenue and will come into force on May 25, 2018.
