Hi,

Look - I know. You're probably not happy with me, and I get it.

It's been a while since I appeared in your inbox, gifting financial nuggets of wisdom to you like a younger and slightly more athletic Santa.

The truth is... I've been busy.

Well, alright. Kinda sorta busy.

...fine I don't have a real job. I'm a blogger. I have a lot of free time on my hands.

And while you may be thinking that being a blogger with a ton of free time on your hands sounds like a great thing...

... it is. You're right.

But it does have some drawbacks too.

Specifically... it's way too easy to shop for stuff online. I'll be writing an email like this one, and then before I know it I'm reading the comments on a glorious product like this:

or come up with ideas for T-shirts that may or may NOT sell or make money

And then after going down some crazy internet wormhole, or 'rabbit hole' a new motorized wine corkscrew inexplicably shows up at my front door the next day, because:

A) I happen to like wine (shocking I know)

and

B) ...how can I say no to yet another way to access that beautiful nectar of the Gods? (I can't)

But fortunately my time on Amazon, mixed with my general cheapness, has taught me quite a bit about saving money (within reason) on the platform.

Specifically, I have learned a bunch of hacks that will keep *some* of the cash in your pocket when you go to the wonderful cornucopia that Jeff Bezos created for all of us.

So if you're like me and do your shopping on Amazon because you dislike being around real humans...
