Hi,

Ever get an idea for a book, and then....

Nothing happens?

Today, we're talking to one author who "always wanted to write fiction" but never seemed to have the time to pull together her random ideas into something coherent.

Then a major disaster struck. During the hurricane that hit Puerto Rico late last year, Elise Loyacano Perl found herself without power, employment, and... well, without pretty much anything.

Which, as it turns out, was a perfect excuse to get some writing done.

This time, instead of randomly drifting from one idea to the next, Elise used a simple process to outline her full book in 6 hours and get it written and published in just a couple of months.

Find out how she did it over at the blog

And let me know in the comments - how do you get your word count done? What processes do you use to write faster? I'd love to hear from you.

Enjoy!

Joao
