Fwd: How to use Facebook ads to get low-cost leads! 🙌

Hey!

My passion is helping entrepreneurs like you achieve your goals for your online business. That's why I've put together my best tips for instantly lowering your Facebook ads cost!

📍 But first: if you are NOT currently running Facebook ads and this is totally new info for you, please take a minute to download and work through the Facebook Ads Starter Kit before you keep reading.

Click here to download the Facebook Ads Starter Kit.

The Starter Kit will help you to understand key terms and concepts so you can move forward armed with all the right tools for Facebook ads success.

Now that we are all up to speed, here are three top tips for testing to lower your Facebook ads cost!

👉 Start with one ad, and test lots of audiences.

When I'm starting a new campaign, I usually create just one version of the ad.

Then I test at least four to six different audiences (each in their own ad set) and show that same ad to every audience.

I do this so that I can compare apples-to-apples which audiences are responding the best to the first version of my ad.

👉 Determine the best-performing audiences.

In each ad set, I like to start with a low daily budget. I recommend getting started with $5 or $10 per day per ad set.

When I see that an audience is performing really well, I'll slowly increase the budget for that specific audience.

Any under-performing audiences get turned off.

👉 Then test different versions of the ad.

Once I find the best-performing audiences, I begin to test new versions of the ad.

I might create a new version of the ad with the same copy but test a new image. I like testing a new image first as it's usually the part of the ad that will stand out most and grab attention.

Once you determine the best image, then try testing a new headline and make changes to the ad copy to improve your offer. But remember to test thoughtfully and not make too many changes at once!

💎 Bonus tip: Not all ads should have the same kind of copy.

Different offers might require different lengths of copy to engage the user.

For instance, if you're running a traffic campaign to get more readers to your blog post, don't give them too much info in your ad!

Share a quick line or two to intrigue them to click through and read your post.

On the other hand, conversion campaigns are asking for a little more from the user (usually their name and email), so those ads require more information before the user is ready to take action.

Let's say you're offering a free digital download in exchange for their email address. You'll want to warm the audience up with your ad copy before you send them to your landing page.

By sharing more information and having longer ad copy, users will be more likely to convert when they arrive on your landing page. 🙌

Those are my best tips to help you immediately lower your Facebook ads cost!

But you might be asking, who is Monica, and how does she know all this?

I'm so glad you asked!

Tomorrow, I'll share my story and give you all the dirty details of how I discovered the secrets of high-converting Facebook ads. (Here's a hint: it involves a lot of debt and some entry-level graphic design. 😱)

To your success,

JoAn

PS. Here's a quick tip you can use right now: Always. Be. Testing.

How do you do that? I start by setting up the same ad with at least four to six different audiences. Once I narrow down the audiences that perform the best, then I start testing new versions of the ad with those top-performers to really drive down costs!
