Fwd: Why I Took A Year Long Blog + Social Media Semi-Sabbatical

Hey!
This past year I decided to do something that I've been wanting to do for quite some time – I took a blog and social media break or two... actually, I get two vacations a year they're six months apiece. (LOL)
Taking a paid 'sabbatical' from socialmedia has changed my life. I feel like I am much more intentional with the actions I take, and I am able to focus on what I truly love.
Okay, so I've still been around working a little bit, but not nearly as much as usual. This can be all consuming, if you're not careful to balance your time in you life surrounding your needs desires vs others' needs and desires. This blog + biz!
But since I've taken a blog + biz and social media break, I've received a lot of messages, comments, and emails asking me about what's going on. Be careful...

What am I doing?
"Is everything all right?"
"Are you not having fun, traveling anymore?"
"Is your business no longer, making money?"
My socialmedia break has really confused people, and it feels like nearly everything I've heard has assumed that something 'bad' has happened.
People assume something is wrong or that I'm unhappy because I've been posting less on social media than I normally do etc ... we were on  Mañana  Time last Summer. Now it's time to hunker down and get back with it and avoid the burnout syndrome, that a T/O cures...
Truthfully, my socialmedia break was not planned. I've just been busy with other things and enjoying living in the moment more and my life and the freedom, I work so hard for..
Today, I want to talk more about the socialmedia break that I randomly took, why I decided to go on a social media hiatus, what, when, how and why people automatically assumed something was wrong, etc. ( there was a 'hit-n-run' in Feb., was hit while crossing street at crosswalk, was out for unspecified duration, and indisposed for 23 days... it's my 2nd time no big deal (minor stroke 1st time) )
And, I know a socialmedia break sounds crazy, especially as a full-time blogger + biz, who gets paid to be on social media. The idea is to automate it and we need to automate 90% of it to reclaim our time freedom and  quality of life the reason we're doing this in the first place
Please head to Why I Took A Year Long Blog + Social Media Semi-Sabbatical to read the full blog post. If you'd like to read this later, please save it to Pinterest.
Thanks!

João
