Hands down, the number one concern we hear from new course creators or would-be- course-creators is, "I'm just not sure about my idea..."
If that's you...please know that you are not, and this does not have to be the thing that keeps you stuck. Here's what you need to know:
1) IT IS DANGEROUS TO FALL IN LOVE WITH AN IDEA.
Stop looking for some magical, perfect idea to marry. Being attached to a course topic is extremely dangerous, because your idea needs to have room to breathe. Over time, as you begin connecting with potential clients, your idea will evolve, change, and may transform into something completely different than you expect. While it's great to come into Launch for $1M w/ a course topic, whatever ideas you may have are just a starting point. Let's allow the market to decide, shall we...
2) CLARITY COMES FROM ACTION.
You can sit and think about your course topic as long as you'd like, but you'll never really know whether or not you have something until you go out and try to sell it. All you need is a hazy, vague hint of an idea right now. We'll show you how to put your idea to the test, perform market research, and help your budding idea blossom. Finding your idea is NOT an internal process. When done properly, it is EXTERNAL. You need to go outside yourself to figure out exactly what people will eagerly pay for.

4) YOU ARE QUALIFIED.
There will always be other people out there who know more than you. So many of our students are concerned that they aren't enough of an "expert" to create a course. Please remember that you can have extreme impact as long as you know more than the person who you are teaching. For example: I can't teach you how to grow a billion dollar business. I could question myself, compare myself to others, second-guess everything, and let this whole thing go... .or. I can teach you how to build a million dollar company. All your past experiences have brought you to this point and you are fully qualified to serve the person whose shoes you once wore.
5) YOUR BUSINESS IDEA DOESN'T NEED TO BE YOUR PASSION.
Your business idea and your passion don't need to overlap. When your course is up and running, you will no longer be trading your time for money. That automated income is a tool that will give you the available time, space, and money to pursue what you are truly passionate about. It's about FREEDOM, FREEDOM +, FREEDOM PREMIUM...
I've has six careers which is about avg. Commercial Artist & Photographer (my Passion), Psychologist (something I needed to know to help people) and Computer Science (in my day it was more marketable) meld the three skillsets to-get-her and you have Industrial Design Engineer.

6) IT LITERALLY DOESN'T MATTER IF YOUR MARKET IS "SATURATED."
It's not just about what you teach...it's about who you are and what's your story. We show our students how to brand themselves so that they are set apart in the online space.
