Hey, I hope you're stuffing your face with festive cheer as much as I am this week ;)

On a less cheery note, this week's email is coming to you from a sad little sick bed in Southern England.
I'm here celebrating the holidays with my boyfriend's family in Dorset, which means Christmassy walks along the beach, marvelling at all the wonderful dogs in fun sweaters and watching my (irrationally fit) in-laws go for Xmas swims in the sea.
Unfortunately, it seems like my hot wine and candy diet from the past month has finally caught up to me..... because I woke up on Christmas Eve with the most monstrous cold and have been simultaneously coughing/sweating for the past 48 hours. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the only times I'm not coughing my eyeballs out are when I'm stuffing my face with food. I'm sure the fam was thrilled to see my illness did nothing to deter my appetite, as I eagerly cleaned out their supply of turkey and sticky toffee pudding. Anyways, in between feeds, I'm mainly in bed trying to recuperate.
But being mostly horizontal has its perks! I have some time now to finally thank you for all your support, for opening my emails, watching my videos, reading my blog posts... because of you, I get to live out my dream everyday, even when some days (like today) are less glamorous than others. So, wherever you are in the world or which holidays you're celebrating this season, I wish you all the happiness (and calories) in the world.
Anyways, I hope you make the most of your last few days of the decade (!!!) and enjoy this weird period between Christmas and New Years where no rules or time seem to exist. Drinks at 10am? Pie for breakfast? Go for it, in the name of the holidays!
