I'll tell you my thoughts with a quick story.
Occasionally, Kim and I like to take our financial statements to financial advisors and planners. Regular people like to catch the latest movie or watch a local sports team but us, we like to see what "professional" advice so called "advisors" or "advisers" are doling out these days.
And it's always amusing when they inform us we're carrying too much debt.

We carry a lot of debt by design. It's called good debt and it brings us mounds of cash flow every month, using some one else's money. It would do these advisers well to play CASHFLOW® the board game and learn the difference.
But I'm not writing you today to pitch our game. No, I'm writing you today because I want you to understand just how "educated" professional financial advisers are.
It only takes a few months to prepare for and then take the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam. Last I checked, it takes longer to become a hairstylist or masseuse than it does to become a financial planner.
