Hi, When I was first building IWT, every "business expert" on the internet was shouting the same piece of bad advice: "Want to be successful? Build multiple streams of income." | So that's what I did. According to the gurus, I was on the fast track to private jets and fancy cars. But take another look at that pie chart. What do you notice? About 70% of my revenue came from just two sources. The other "income streams" -- like advertising -- never panned out into anything more than headaches. It was a LOT of balls to keep in the air. A LOT of work. Worst part, most of it never moved the needle. It's almost embarrassing to admit how long it took me to realize this, but really building extra income isn't about doing 15+ tiny things. You can't nickel and dime your way to an extra $1,000 or $2,000 a month. When you're starting out you just need to find one thing that people will pay you for and focus on that. (I tried a lot of ideas when I started. My favorite was teaching VCs how to use MySpace. Ah, the good old days.) Tomorrow, I'll show you the two things anyone will pay for. But today, easy question: What service could you offer that someone would pay for? How many ideas can you come up with?
My thanks in advance for your time, attention and consideration.
Yours in Abundant Success,
John
